Welcome to the RÉCIT-VT Blog!



What is RÉCIT?
RÉCIT is a network focused on the development of students' skills through the integration of information and communications technology (ICT). It is mainly through training, support and guidance of teachers RÉCIT realizes that this mandate while developing a culture of network and sharing. This is a structure that has about 120 contacts distributed in:

  • 71 local services to the general education of youth (1 school board service and 1 for private educational institutions);
  • 17 regional services to the general adult education (1 Service by administrative region and one for the English-speaking community);
  • 12 national services which provide special support:in connection with a learning area of ​​the Québec Education Program (arts, professional and personal development, languages, mathematics, science and technology, social sciences and integrating project);or for targeted school groups (special education, early childhood education, adult general education, vocational training and services to the Anglophone community).

RÉCIT is financially supported by the Ministère de l'Éducationde l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche (MEESR). School boards (Riverside School Board in the case of Voc. Ed.) will manage resource persons RÉCIT-VT (Tami Belhadj) and determine priorities for action. The MEESR also contributes to the development of network culture, promoting peer learning and sharing of expertise. This blog is an example of the network culture as it promotes the sharing of resources developed by the various Vocational Education actors in the 9 anglophone schoolboards.
